Stunning restaurant with all the original "Spice" restaurant décor. Very attentive wait staff and gauchos constantly bringing 16 different grilled meats. Salad bar was excellent with fresh mozzarella balls, broccoli bacon salad, amazing blue cheese and other salads, meats and cheeses. My vegetarian daughter approved of the salad bar-only option. She raved about the Collards. It's expensive but the quality is there. Don't miss this place! 2 June 2016 ***** OKKO Port Royal Plaza Probably the most attractive bar and restaurant on the island! Very New York loft style. Excellent Pad Thai and Sushi! Comes in a bento box with salad, soup, tempura shrimp&vegetables, fish, terriyaki shrimp, vegetables and rice. Cheryl's favorite restaurant on the island! 25+ June 2017 ***** One Hot Mama's Greenwood Center HHI Great pulled pork, BBQ beef brisket, ribs, huge baked potatoes, lots of salads, good baked beans, jalapeno honey cornbread(!), and all at reasonable prices. Try the baked sweet potatoes. Outstanding BBQ and Breakfast brunch on Sundays. $8-$10 20+ May 2017 ***** Southern Coney Bi-lo Circle Center south end Excellent Gyros and breakfast items. Good prices. 5+ 2021 ***** Street Meet Excellent Gyros. Known for their specialty burgers and dogs. Make sure you order the onion rings which are more like a very lightly breaded onion "straw" than a ring. For an added treat start off with a hot, fresh-baked pretzel as an appetizer. Best pretzels on the island! This restaurant has some of the most amazing combinations of uncommon recipes. A real adventure treat that won't dissapoint! Best carrot cake on the island! 4+ Spring 2014 **** Cook Out Old KFC building across from Wal-Mart Seriously? Four stars for a fast food burger joint? Am I crazy? No! I just love a good double-cheeseburger charcoal grilled and served in about 2 minutes with two of their 15+ different side items and a drink for a cheap price! Upgrade to a chocolate malt or any of 40+ different milk shakes for $1 extra! Don't sweat the long lines and drive through. There is a reason for these lines and they move FAST! 10+ Fall 2022 **** Poseidon Shelter Cove Town Centre Excellent, touristy restaurant. Rooftop bar overlooking fireworks in season. Good lunch place. 4+ July 2023 **** Sweet Frog Frozen Yogurt Near Sea Pines Gate Awesome serve-yourself frozen yogurt buffet! Lots of flavors and a ridiculous number of toppings. Pay by the ounce at the end of the line. Remember most of the toppings weigh less than the yogurt itself! 10+ May 2017 ****1/2 Sea Shack Reasonably priced, excellent seafood. Fried, sauteed and blackened. A real southern fish-camp style restaurant with a shortage of tables and a few outside booths. Get here early because the lines wrap around the building! Grilled wahoo, jerk grouper, fried scallops and blackened triggerfish are excellent. Mongolian BBQ - pick your meats, vegetables and sauces and they cook it in front of you on a big wok grill. The biggest and most varied buffet in the area.
